A layer of peppered sand is all we see on this desert
stretch. Undulating like the sea, wave upon wave,
it feels never-ending.
Never-ending was our desire to
walk this challenge, until our legs, now tired, and our
throats, now parched, begin to beg, to question ...
Then we spot:
an acrobat!
a village girl balances
on her bare hip
an earthen pot
of tilted liquid twilight
