Look at Me: Lena, Lenore, Lee

—After Self-Portrait (c. 1930) by Lee Krasner*

I can be a realist.
I can be a fauvist.
I can be anything you want me to be—
just let me paint.
I’ve nailed a mirror to a tree,
my own camera obscura invention,
to capture my own image.
