We’d Never Put Our Parents in a Place Like This

We never want to hear that bell ring, the one that tells us, Time to get up. Where do we have to be? We want to sleep late, watch Wheel of Fortune in bed, and dip Oreos in milk. On game night we don’t want bingo and carrot sticks, we want to play charades and have wine and cheese. We don’t like old movies. We’ve seen them all, ages ago. We want Tom Cruise hurling from a plane or Sandra Bullock making out with someone sexy like Keanu Reeves. We want our hearts to race. We want to feel alive.
