Four Micro-Poems

Easter Sunday
children hunting eggs
in the graveyard

:::

south wind—
please don’t send me any more
mosquitoes

:::

silent Quaker meeting
yet all around us
ticking clocks

:::

stashed in a box
with things never to be
thrown out
a “write in Spiro Agnew
for vice president” pencil
