The Centurion credit card— the black American Express card— is exclusive, prestigious, and available by invitation only, to select big spenders worldwide. In all my years at the Museum I saw the black card less than ten times. You notice them; the Titanium feels different. A man paid with one on Tuesday. He came from Guatemala. One of the poorest countries in the world.
